Number one it is not mine to ***** out. There is some fabrication going on there concerning the MAS and the BOV configuation, none if you leave it the way TSI intended. The backside of the front bumper needs a little carving done for the intercooler too. The IC pipes hang low in the front he scraped them on a curb and it required an extra fuel pump (not included) to get it off lean. It has yet to be tuned by a professional and as of last night it was 8psi. It should be mid 14's considering he takes on cars with 14.6 and 14.8 slips and beats them on the street.

AWW so there is some modifications needed huh? That kindof sucks but at least they are doable. Can't believe they make the pipes scrap... that to me is CRAP! Were you able to correct that issue? 8psi an mid 14's isn't really all that good... i thought he would be at about 5 or 6 psi. At 9 psi the RRM kit smokes low 13sec cars on the street. Street and Strip are two different arena's though. Good luck with the kit and car. Get it tuned and give us final numbers/cost analysis!

This isn't even of interest anymore. Mod's need to moderate all this this crap being spewed by one companies zombies and make this forum useful again or change the name to RRM.net and let all the cronies stroke each other with the worthless posts that litter the US Lancer boards.

Turbokits.com all the way. No matter what kind of car I had I would never buy a turbo kit from them, you are talking non sense ok? Only other good turbo for the lancer is rpw turbo kit because THEY WORK ON MITSUBISHI and know their stuff also just like road race does. turbo kit.com just pieces stuff together from previous kits and says here is a kit for a lancer. also there has been other custom kits I have seen on here (like hobie's and some other guy that turbo'd his wifes lancer) which are done very good. good bye.

This is a message from a tsi kit lancer, if u dont want to have to play alittle with it, buy road race its specifically for a lancer, if u want to spend 1000 less and put alittle energy into it buy the tsi kit also whats nice is the tsi kit has a real turbo manifold instead of welding one together. I run with 7 psi daily everyday, and run with road race turbo'd lancers and even they are impressed, with the pull i get, so its what ever u feel ur up to.

Boni you are slow. Slow is a relative term so I can use it when I talk about your car. Also Boe I appreciate your objective opinions for the most part but beating a low 13 sec car on the streets does not mean that you have a 13 sec car. I did not read this whole post but Evos run mid to high 13s stock but Srt-4 s that run a 1/2 sec slower from a dig but can edge an Evo out from a roll. When you say that an rrm turboed lancer car can beat low 13 sec cars on the street I believe you forgot to put from a roll.

The only thing I don't like about the TSI turbo is the look. It looks dirty, especially the header. But it's cheaper.

Basically the best statement on here is from Ryan Bush. If you want a kit that you can basically slap right on, then go with RRM. You go with the non-ic kit and get a T-28 turbo for $3000 and have the option to upgrade in two steps after that (step 1 is to IC, second is to Stage 2 IC). If you feel like having to break a sweat and minor fabrication and want to save some money up front go with the TSI kit, but upgrade to the T-28, don't even bother with the T-25, you'll be happier in the end, which will run $3200, and you'll get an IC and T-28. It all depends on what you want to do. For me, I'm going RRM non-IC come winter time because I want something that I can just throw on right out of the box (after borrowing a tap set from my friend, which is the only extra tool needed).

hey evo dude, relax for a minute or 5 and don't jump on boes ****. if you would read it, he said STREET AND STRIP ARE TWO DIFFERENT ARENA'S. thus clairifying that the situation and results are going to be much different. dont' get all spastic because lancer will pass you on the road. as for this being all about RRM, i don't think anyone feels that way. however, unfortunately for other vendors, they havn't shown us the commitment and results that road race has.

Can't wait Boni. So you will have the fastest Lancer when it is all said and done.BTW Do you have a timeslip to scare me with. Evo8power has been wolfing that same crapola and finally after a million mods including a turbo upgrade he is slightly quicker. Until you go run your car with the new set-up you have no idea what it is capable of. So you are going to be in the 12s after the next upgrade or are you shooting for the 11s. Whenever you are ready let me know. BTW I think it is cool that your car is going to be a great sleeper but you are so arrogant with your comments that I feel that a good checking is in order. Hope your car holds up to all your mods so we can have a showdown at Fontana. I will be the Yellow Evo that your Prancer will be calling daddy after it is all said and done. Prepare to be owned!I feel like a bully but maybe you can flip the script like the karate kid. No you will be owned!
