if a non IC lancer has 170-180whp and a wrx has around the same amount, how come ya'll runMUCH BETTER 1/4 mile times than us? i am so lost right now. wtf >.<

 

Launch. 60 foot times. There are a lot of other variables to drag racing like traction etc. It make all the difference on the clock.

Ya like i said i have no idea what a lancer runs in the 1/4 mile except for the video of the RRM drag lancer, but thats a whole nother beast haha

If someone could make a new thread with like 1/4 mile times of stock - stage 2 that would be awesome. I know the lancers can be made fast as hell, no doubt about it, and for the money it takes its a great deal, not doubting her at all. But...ROCK is right. More comes into play than just having the same HP numbers to the wheels.

WIth FWD u will...could spin the tires more (i think)? than with an AWD car which wont do that. And other stuff that he mentioned.

I have never been to a track or drag raced so i have no idea what happens and differnt variables, but some info i do know from people who have been, some people are getting like 1.79 60' times and like 1.8 60' times, which im not sure if thats good, but seems pretty good?

But...its not worth it to argue about...any car that can run up and get under 15 seconds in a 1/4 mile is good in my book. haha

ya i hate em' too. There are a few in my town that are ricey as ****. And by that i mean, a rediculous body kit and a muffler. Its fun to watch them fly by people and race everyone. I never give em' the time of day.

But --- are there anymore video's of the lancers that are turbo'd? Perhaps racing other cars?

the car sounds great.

 

I was gonna shoot some vids of me trashing my stock clutch. However... one dump at 4000 rpm and 1 hard launch tires breaking 1st, 2nd and 3rd and she was done. Had a hard time pulling it up the driveway after that. The new RRM ACT is in and just about fully broken in. But, good news...August 8th I will be Dynoing! Will definately be shooting video so I will keep you all posted.
