Team Blindside Turbo

has anyone tried team Blindside's Garret turbo set up yet... its $1000 cheaper than RRMs... but never seen anyone with it..

Not that I'm defending the kit in any way, but keep in mind that blown motors happen more frequently due to poor installs and user error than defects of manufacturing. Of course if there are shortcomings in the kit they can make failures far more likely...or even imminent. Just a thought.

EDIT: Almost forgot. Another good thing to remember is that, generally speaking, you really do get what you pay for. If you have specific wants/needs from turbocharging then you may want to consider a custom kit. Otherwise the Road Race kit is tested and proven with tons of successes. The RPW kit also, though far less widely used, has shown some nice gains and a manifold (as opposed to return pipe). I can't say I can even think of any other kit worthy of mention due to lack of testing and/or cheap/crappy components.
