Best/recommended Air Fuel Tuner

I've heard about the PLX WIDEBAND AF TUNER. Seems nice, but new. I've heard about APEX SAFC II.......but that's from my HONDA buddies. Can anyone help me figure out which unit is out on the market to best tune my fuel curve. I'm going boost in two months and I want to get the proper tune form my car withouth having to spend the 2 or 3 grand on stand alone. Also...can any boosted lancer guys give me a good air fuel mixture at wide open throttle and a good mix at idle. Also...does anyone have good remarks about the HKS Turbo Timer Type 1. It says it give a 1/4 mile readout...just wondering if it's pretty accurate and what else it may do. Thanks. (If this a repost...sorry)

The best? AEM EMS and a wideband.

The most recommended? Probably GReddy E-manage.

Why do you need to tune AFR? That could help people make better suggestions.
