It is very accurate. You only need to use navi cd's when searching for an address. When done, it goes into memory mode and then you switch it back to your music cd's.

I am planning on getting pioneer changer so that I always have navi cd in the head unit and music cd's in the changer and never worry about switching cd's

that's cool, if your going to get a changer it's a good idea to get one of the top of the lines. I am a car audio installer at circuit city and trust me, if you don't get a atleast in the middle range in quality changer, it's going to give you problems down the road. just my personal opinion. Thanks

for a pioneer changer i would go with either the CDX-FM1289, the CDX-FM1287 is good to but you don't need the wireless controller so the fm1289 would be better for you. I was wondering, do you need to have the tv tuner. I thought that all you need is the display monitor and the hideaway box, do you have a tv tuner, is it necessary. I know with some brands and models you do. Thanks

Ok cool, yeah, if you stick with the same brands you'll be able to control if threw the head unit and won't need the controller. also, i was thinking last night, if i were you i would save up and get a dvd changer and use that as both a cd changer and a cd changer, this way you'll kill to birds with one stone, hold on, let me check if there's any goods ones at a reasonable price, brb

You can get the XDV-P90 pioneer 6 disc dvd changer, it's a little high priced though, i found it for 650ish online. You can use any brand changer and have it work through your n1, but you'll lose on screen image features by switching brands. If it was cheaper i would say go with it, but for that price it's not worth it.
