Hi Celm,

Would these 3 part # work on our Evos with no problem? Or we still have that electric problem we were talking about, between GSR and RS2 ? You know I still wanna buy those parts for my gauges, but if they don't work with our vent control knobs, I probably won't buy them.

Let me know !!

Actually, could you tell me if the lower center panel would accomodate a second head unit!

Could you take a picture of it showing the front of it!

I saw your pics on the previous thread and the center panel is laying down!

Ok,
I called a couple of dealers including the dealer in California where MR. BobbyCordova ordered his part.

Dealers in Massachusetts say that they see the part on the diagram but can't ordered it because is not available under my VIN number, in other words is not a part that came with my Lancer. (Duh!!!)
And they can't find it anywhere else.

The part #MR596469 is not a valid number.
And the number 73108Z is not a part number but it does identify the part on the diagram.

Anyway, the dealer in California said that they were going to consult with their technical dept. to find the part and then they would call me back...that was three days ago.

Can either one of you guys look at the bill or order paper you got from Mitsubishi and look at the part numbers there?

Thanks

Thats so weird. OH I know ask them to look for the bezel adaptor that was included with the stock cd changer. that lower part was meant for an indash cd changer and that part is part of the kit. The thing is, when I went to the service department they had originaly ordered me the wrong part. The other service tech, a tall slim blond (i think) guy walked out and knew what I was talking about and was able to find it. It was not on the page where it should have been. It was under the audio section of the parts manual. Not many dealers will know what you are talking about. Sorry about the scan. I was all ready to do it last night and then my stupid motherboard is having problems recognizing any usb devices. (yes usb is enabled in Bios)

Good luck.
