OK, this piece is for sale still... but it now has lost it's CF covering, and is now ready to be dyed to match whatever colour your dash is. I've got some pictures of it dyed black, and I can dye it gray easy enough.

 

Yeah its ok, 6/10 In my opinion.... I think the carbon fiber look, looks too OFF in comparison to the rest of your dash... maybe if the rest of your dash was some cf or something itd be cool, ive seen it done b4 tho

 

Do you have pictures of the mold you used to make it?

 

I wouldn't go as far as to say "coolest ever". It's alright if you're into that kinda thing. Looks like something from an IASCA event. Even then, I still don't like it. I'm all for bieng unique, but I'm just not feeling it.

As I said, the CF is gone, I sanded it all off, filled and smoothed it, and it's now ready to dye to match some lucky person's dash. I need a deck with optical output, so I gotta let this piece and the deck go. $500 US takes it, shipped to your door

 

I knew that was a Denon deck as soon as I saw it. I had the 8250 with the nasty D/A converters. Very nice cd player, and well done on the smooth-over.

 

What happens if the deck goes bad?
