computers and LCD screens

has anyone who has done this run into display issues on the LCD? (fuzzy, too small, whatever...)

i think i'm going to buy a cheapo 7" lcd from ebay just to see how the whole setup works in the car. my laptop has NTSC out and most (all?) of the LCDs have NTSC in, correct? i know it's a bad idea, but i've got some time this weekend so i figured i'd get the laptop all set up with the video cable run up through the dash ready to go.

That would work.. the problem with hooking up a computer to some of those LCD is they don't support good resolutions and you can't even see the text. You're laptop would have to be at 640x480 or something to even get a decent picture. I guess for watching a DVD movie it would work ok, but for text, its terrible. I think if you got the DVD player, you could just get a portable DivX player here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...786767326&rd=1
And hook it up to that screen. You can put all your different formats of movies on it, music, pictures, etc.. And its removable and smaller. The picture will be better too.
