Probably whomever found a high-output alternator, or had theres re-done for larger output. That should be the title..." Who has got a high-output alternator, and what ya push'n?"

How 'bout that alternator? I know pulling 100 amps+ really isn't good for our alt...

Get an Optima battery to power the high-output system, or try a "BatCap". Read some good things about them.

Most guys are probably gonna say their MAX output, but you're rarely pushing that. My max is 1050, rms is about 375.

i used to have two 12" pioneer 400rms 800 max each, so 800 RMS total. i was running it with one amp and stock head unit. the amp didn't have 800RMS tho so it really wasn't sucking that much juice. was fun till i sold it, biggest and dumbest mistake ive made with the lancer. i miss my subs.

well, considering i'm in the process of getting rid of my lancer since i just got an '06 subaru legacy wagon, the system is out of it. but, what i had...

- (2) Resonant Engineering XXX 15's (1600 watts RMS handling/dual 4-ohm)
- (2) Infinity REF1210A mono amps for the subs (1300 watts RMS output each @ 2ohms)
- (1) Infinity Kappa Perfect Components up front
- (1) Alpine Type S coaxials in the back
- (1) Rockford 500S 2-channel amp for the highs (250 x 2 RMS @ 2ohms)
- (1) Rockford 25 Farad Carbon Cap
- (1) Optima Yellow Top under the hood
- (1) 1/0 gauge wiring throughout

as soon as i get my old computer back home i can post some pics...

but, add it up... 1300 + 1300 + 250 + 250 = 3,100 watts of RMS power ;-)

I heard some of those Audio Competition Cars sometimes have to be played with a remote from outside the car, cus if you sit in it it could like stop your heartbeat or skip it or some ****...? Is that true?
What kinda wattage is that?

More like a concussion...and it doesn't take that much. Just a truely tuned setup and descent power.
