Professional theif, he mangaed to unbolt the amp which was bolted down to the back seat. He/they took out the radio without busting up the dash. He/they turned off the dome light and went to town on my car for a good 15-20 minutes. And the worst part is my car was facing a main road where cops go down all the time. They also got my boy's civic too. They only got his radio cuz, his alarm was going off and you needed a key to get to his trunk. I have full coverage so i'm gonna make the insurance company pay out the *** for this one.

Watch out for your insurance. Most time they won't cover any aftermarket stereo, wheels, etc. unless you specify for coverage of that stuff on your premium, and then they tend to charg alot more when you do. My Tahoe was stolen last year and I had 17" chrome wheels on it, my insurance doesn't want to cover the cost of my wheels which cost me $1000, pissed me off!
Suck to hear about that though, good luck with your insurance

Minus your deductible, of course.

And the value of the aftermarket parts.

Well basically if its bolted down they'll cover it. They should cover your rims because its part of the car. They're buying me a new aftermarket radio for sure. Still gotta get the recipt for my subs and such. I should break more then even on this deal.

Really really sorry to hear about your stuff.

I had an 82' Toyota PU broken into 3 times in 2 weeks, lost 200+ cd's and deck. THEN it got stolen a week later at a mall, they stole deck, more cd's, amp and 2 12"s in it. I was not a happy man.

Then I get a Jeep wranger. Custom mounts/boxes for speakers, amp, deck .. broken into. They didn't take anything but cut the enture length of the rear window. Then a month later, broken into a again. Nothing lost, they left a sweater. Then I move .. 6 mos later in front of my new house ina high class neighborhood or whatever and it gets broken into. they steal deck and some cd's, my change and they tried to jack my amp under the rear seat. they used my shovel to jack it up .. it was 2 bolts unbolted but seemed something scared em off .. cause they left my sunglasses and a knife in the car, didn't get subs or amp. I claimed it all cause they cut into the car and ****ed **** up.

Right after i got my stereo for the jeep I toook out a $2000 US insurance coverage for it, $50 deductable. After I claimed it, they wanted "proof" that it was that expensive. So I show em receipts. Then, they want proof that ALL of the equipment was properly mounted by a professional and that it was ALL bolted in. I was able to prove it and got a good check which went to my habit. 5 mos. later at work I catch two hispanic males breaking into my jeep. Head of security is there and he caught em INSIDE the jeep .. i come out and the guy is outside .. i walk up and they notice its my jeep so the two dudes get in their car real quick and drive off .. we got plates and car description and called police. Piggies caught em in 30 min. They said it was two hispanic kids, 15 and 16 years old .. they had been 'involved' in prior car break ins but hadn't been able to prove anything. When caught, the kids had a call FULL of junk.

I'm not racist, I just hate those who steal. Sorry about your loss man. I'm parking in the garage tonight.

edit: spellin

MOther F-er, the job market is so bad right now people are getting desperate and will do just about anything for money. I'm over what they stole but i kinda am screwed up pyschologically because they scoped my car out. Then scoped me out, cuz they knew i would be inside this pool hall in eastpointe (very near detroit) for at least an hour. The image of some professional audio theif sitting in my car in the dark gives me chivers.

Oh yeah digdat that insurance you got is that called "riders insurance". I think thats for when you have a ****load of audio and video equipment stuff in your car.
