Kicker XPL 12" x12-c8
Hey guys, I have a set of kicker 12" x12c-8 subs. I was just wondering, what kind of box. I want it to be loud, and I want to feel the thump. I'm thinking I might just put 1 in, since I don't need 2. what kind of box is reccommended. Cup, your input is appreciated as always.
they need about 8 cuft, 5.5" mt depth, and 106.09 cuin. I'm thinking a nice sealed box.

thanks. am i officially the audio *****? depends on how many watts, how clean you want it, etc.
personally, i'd go for 1 sub and sealed. i like bass, but i like treble more. tight, rich, deep bass is there to compliment the rest of the music.
IMO, 500+ watts going to subwoofers requires some major tweeter and midrange/midbass upgrades up front to keep up. gotta have the treble to back up your bass, otherwise you're just a rattling box
