Lightbulb OZ Rally Headunit

I want to replace the headunit and 6 disc changer with the Pioneer DEH-P930 and the CDX-PD6 for some more kick. Does anyone have experience with taking the dashboard piece around the stereo apart? I haven't looked at it in depth yet...but figured if someone else has done it I'd save myself about an hour and some tools being thrown across the yard!

Any input would help

Stupid question: how do you remove the knobs? I don't just want to "pull hard" unless I know that will result in a Good Thing.
