Compstar SS used for turbo timer

I'm thinking of installing the Compustar SS in my Evo 8 so that I can have a turbo timer and kick *** alarm all in one. I was just wondering if anyone has installed one yet and if so, how is it??

i just got the Compustar as1000, something like that... it kicks ***! i tested the range, and it does go about a good 1/4 miles distance.

the turbo timer thingy? it works, but it's not a real turbo timer; it just keeps your car running for approximately two minutes after you take your keys out of the ignition... eh! just disengage it if you're not even running your turbo. just my 0.02!

I use a hornet 554t, and i use it as a turbo timer... works great for me.. i usually leave it running until im about to enter bldg, then turn it off manullay.... the walk across a parking lot is usually about1-2 min. if i forget, or get out of range to fast it will turn itself off after some time. I love the alarm and the trubo timer function, highly recommended.

i have the compustar with spread spec. tech. it works great, have not tested range yet, but the TT function is pretty sweet. Also the paging LCD is nice too.
