im in the process of buying a car alarm, and i need help with this one small thing. i see this line in one of the alarms that i am looking at:

Remote Keyless Entry (Negative Door Lock Outputs)

Note: For Vehicles with Positive Door Locks Please add DLR

could someone tell me if the lancer es needs that DLR thing? also, does the WRX need that too?

well i'm not sure about that alarm but for my alarm i had to install a relay so it locks and unlocks the doors with my alarm ..if i can get a digital camera i'll take some pics and show u where i wired it

 

just to let you guys know, its the FM 5005 (or Delta Pro 5005) that requires that DLR thing. So i want to know if i need it or not.

well, another question, what do people think about the FM 5005? Should I just forget about it and go for the hornet 554t?

The FM got a longer distance, but im not sure if its worth it.

Please help!
