Did you try adjusting the amp level? If turned up to high this could happen. You could also try upgrading the ground to your alternator.

We basically tried everything. From turn down the amp, messing with the bass boost, the x-over, traced all the wiring. The thing that narrowed it down to having to be the amp, was hooking another amp up to the wiring just how the Kicker was was installed and it sounded fine. I don't wanna blame Kicker but its kind of wierd that this happened. Has anyone heard of Kicker amps crapping out like this before?

I still think you might have a bad ground. You need to try a completely new location and make sure that you grind of any paint where you decide to mount it. The seat belt bolts are a good spot. Even thought he other amp didn't make the same noise, it doesn't mean that it is your amp unless the two amps are exactly the same model.

A bad ground could cause the amp to go into heat protection mode and cause the feedback? Thats why I love this site, I learn something new everyday. I'll try that before I return the amp and let you know if it works. I hope it does, because I really like the amp. The things packs a punch and a half.

When the engines running the feedback is noticable but it goes away after a while. The amp is brand spanking new, so I hope thats not the problem. Any ideas what it might be?
Did you run the RCA wires on the opposite side than the power wires?
Is the ground wire the same gauge or larger than the power wire?
Are you using an RF modulator?
Are you using a signal/gain switch or knob?
