My IDMax 15 does own all!!! I invite u to hear it, if you're in the Socal area
I found this interesting, IDMax 15? Just for the record, IDMax is 1 universal size, and that is 12'', not 10'' or 15'', unless of course you had them make a 15'' Max for you, but you would need to go to a select dealer I believe.

ORION makes a nice sub but again not very damn clean
Can you define clean for the rest of us? Because you're discribing some of the most accurate drivers on the market. The ORION HCCA series subs are infact very capable drivers. And the IDMAX has spoken for itself time and time again, if you doubt it, check your local caraudio mag, they've more than likely got an article on it.

As a side note, you actually prefer the neon green ****splatter on the cone of the P.Miller? Wow. Good for you. I'll stick to some classy looks thanks.

Or maybe you're just upset that you couldn't get anything better than CC's middle of the line.

man if i wanted to i could have dumped more money into my car than you did on your house (well more than a buck fifty but still) but whats the point? its all i need. and it sounds/looks/and feels great!

My advise would to be to take your head out of your *** before you start talking, because the people who care what you have to say cant hear you!

well thanks for the heads up cup but i dont think it was ment as a "dis" as much as it was Defense from the non reading section of the forum.

I am sorry if it was taken out of context and i guess the pic was a little much but that pissed me off... honestly cup how often do you read rants from me?

maybe if i started more **** here it would go over with less of a hassle, but thats not what i am here for and thats not what the forum is for.... I dont think atleast....

Anyone can know anything they want to know.... however my opinion stands firm. but i never once said that the HCCA's didnt hit hard and if I did thats not what i was meaning. The simple comment that i made was that they arent clean... that could mean anything in someones trunk...from a rattle to a ****ty box. but the bottom line was and still is that THE ONES I HEARD DID NOT SOUND GOOD. that dosent mean that they are ****ty subs. just that maybe they werent a good fit for his car.( maybe )

so come to any conclusion you wish but until i see them again those are my thoughts.

it's pretty easy to get good subs to sound bad. underpower/overpower them with a clipped signal and any magnet will sound like ****.

it's really about the amp anyways......

in my opinion, subs are subs. people should concentrate more on the frequencies that make the music. bass represents 1% of the listening spectrum yet people spend more money on it then any other part of their system. booming bass doesn't impress me (or girls contrary to popular belief)...but make someone's ears bleed with your treble and you'll impress a lot of people.

i laugh when i see an explorer roll by, bass rattling every piece of his car, and i can hear the music all distorted and muffled. that's when i pull up next to him and blast something like vanessa carlton with screaching highs

Well if history is any measure of future success P. Miller subs are gonna be trash. No Limit Records? All the souljas deserted. Where are they now? Master P as a sports agent? Ask Ricky Williams 'bout that. Master P the NBA player? Cut by then Charlotte, and Toronto. Good ol' P I still love him for his music about 7 years ago but he has proved to be a failure time and time again and this looks like another.

LoL

This has become a flame war! Just for the record: Zapcolancer, my friend owns SoCal Customs www.socal-custom.com he hooked me up with a 15" IDMax(used sooooo much dynamat extreme ) I've owned alot of different types of subwoofers, and I must say from first-hand experience, Image Dynamics' have been amazing. Nero, the fact that a company would pay a washed up rapstar for his name recognition to sell subs is laughable. Great subs sell themselves, high-end audio enthusiasts aren't swayed by cheesy marketing ideas. Flame on, but I love my IDmax.
