Systems?

Just to get a feel for what everybody is running here...

Let's get a system break down from everybody. What have you got? Pics? What do you listen to most of the time?

Still working on mine, but I am not planning to change my plans. I'm not a copy cat.

Right now I am running:

Headunit: Alpine CDA-9847
Front Speakers: MB Quart RCE 216 (installed as seperates)
Rear Speakers: MB Quart RCE 216 (installed as coaxial)
Subwoofer: Alpine SWR-1242D Type-R 12"
Amplirfier: Alpine MRD-M605 Class-D 600 Watt

No pics right now. Planning to get some new ones soon. The sub will be replaced with something else right now, and I am planning to add a 4-channel amp to finish it out.

What are your thoughts on the CD-3000? I was thinking of picking one up here, seems to have what I need, and the 5V pre-outs are very tempting, even tho I am going to be running a JBL 1200.1

oh i love it, i wouldnt choose another HU (except a nicer one), one of the cleanest ive heard and the features are nice, and the built in crossovers are nice when the family is riding in the car and you wanna cut out the seat shaking bass

HU: Alpine CDM-9823 (gonna get new alpine w/ 3 sets of outs and MP3)

Front: Infinity Kappa 62.7i (2 way, 2 ohms) (looking at getting Polk DB6500
components 4ohms so i can bridge them)

Rear: Infinity Kappa 62.7i (2 way, 2 ohms) (looking at getting Polk DB6500
components 4ohms so i can bridge them)

Speaker Amp: Infinity Reference 7541A 4ch. (eventually getting
McIntosh MCC404M 100x4)

Subs: 2 Alpine 12" 1242D Type R's (wired together at 4ohms, bridged at amp
at 2ohms)

Sub Amp: Old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 200IX 2ch. w/ 300Hz X-Card

I listen to a lot of old 70s, 80s, and 90s Rock. Some old school rap i.e. 2 Live Crew, Beastie Boys, etc. Some new Rock. I also need a new box for subs. Either a ported one from Crutchfield or a custom built sealed box. Not sure which one though.
