Question speaker holes

I was curious to know where I could find adapters to fit 6 1/2" speakers in the stock holes. I have always had my previous systems professionaly installed.

You might try crutchfield. They have lots of generic adapters with all sorts of bolt hole options (same piece of plastic). Almost every 6 1/2" speaker fit in one adapter that also fit perfectly into my Galants door bracket.

If you buy speakers from them, the adapter would be free as well.

I should mention that I live in the same town as Crutchfields headquarters and outlet store which is why I had a chance to try the bracket out with different speakers.

TearItUp is right. Crutchfield has great customer service, and everyone I've ever dealt with there has been polite, courteous and helpful. If they don't have the adaptors, you may want to try a local store who might stock them or who could do custom ones for you...whichI doubt it will come to and would probably be more trouble than it's worth. At any rate...good luck! Let us know what you find, because the selection for 6 3/4"s is fairly limited.
