Laptop LCD?

ok so im thinking about putin a 12-15" tft lcd in some sort of fiberglass stand/rack inbetween the back two seats. im not lookin to spend alot on it, so i was wondering if i could use an lcd out of a laptop. cuz i see tones on ebay for cheap. just not sure how i would go about wireing it up to my xbox in the end.

any help?

Save yourself the headache and just buy an lcd monitor. They are cheap nowadays.

I researched that subject a little bit and it turns out to be more expensive to run the screen off the laptop than still attached to it.

On some laptops you can extend the wires feeding the screen, that'd be your best bet.

are you going to be hooking up a real xbox to this screen or are you going to run an emulator off of a computer (laptop or slimline desktop) and have usb xbox controllers?
