I am seriously thinking about getting an Sub amp and HU from a RA Sun and Sound package. The only problem I have is i have an aftermarket Insignia HU and i want to keep that in. the guy that i am buying the product from is throwing in the DIN cable. What else will i need to get if i am giong to install this myslef. KInda a newb when it comes to audio

 

I believe that if you have an aftermarket HU, then you wouldn't need the DIN cable. But I have no clue about audio so I will let someone else answer that for you.

 

You should be able to get an amped system harness for mitsubishi's that will allow you to hook up to the factory amplifier DIN cable.

 

If you're running the Stock S&S Sub and Amp from our (RA's) cars then you'll need the adaptor to convert from you RCA to the wire that connect to the amp. Soundgate.com makes one look up their mitsubishi adapter. It just plugs into your Front and Rear pre-amped outputs... 30$ i just ordered one they have 5 left in stock i think.
