I just recently got an ipod, and i was looking at some stuff, and i came across this.

do you think its worth the money? my car's stereo is stock. i believe this is about just as much as a new stereo would be. any inputs?

Headunits w/ ipod connectivity are a bit more expenisve than that. If i were you i would pay little more for a headunit that has the ipod stuff already on it. Or if you are like me get a touchscreen monitor that has all the controls and songs on the screen

From my experience the ipod adaptor cables don't sound anywhere near as good as the actual ipod adaptor boxes that let your headunit control the ipod. The fm transmitters are trash too if you are into any sort of sound quality

The FM transmitters have too much static. I have tried the transmitter and i hated it. .Stick with the head unit with the built in ipod controls.

FM transmitters are trash and a waste of money

cable connectors through the headphone jack are trash too because it takes a ipod filtered and controlled sound and just filters it agian making the quality absolutley horrible

I have sperate cable that connects to the headunit. No jacks. it has that wierd ipod plug that connects straight to the headunit. Great sound quality.
