There are no current kits out there on the market either. You will have to make your own. Removing the stock unit is the least of your worries. There are no wire harnesses as well. Someone posted a how-to on removing the radio.

I called my Metra tech and he says the kit is still in R&D and will be ready in about a month.

I Just added two 10 inch subs and an amp to the stock head unit and the thing pounds, which has made me aware of all of the loose parts in the car. The plastic at the back window behind the rear seats was bouncing off of the rear window, so I had to stuff two bandannas in between to stop this until I find another solution. But I had an LOC installed and it sounds good, 10X more bass than stock

Some good line out converters also have a direct remote that feeds from the speaker signal, so when the speakers has a signal coming to it, it sends a signal to the amp to turn it on. All you really have to run, is the power from the front, and the speaker wires from the factory speakers to the line converter, the the speaker outputs from the amp, back to the speakers.

I bought them off of my friend who just sold his Mazda MX6 for a Sentra Spec-V SER for just $375 including a bassworx box and 2 pioneer amps I know it's a steal and a half. But as far as the intallation I had SLS install it for me (Weston Rd and Finch) They also do work for wazzuuuup who has the Blue GTS. I still need to swap out the door speakers because when the bass gets really heavy the voice starts to dissappear, but it still sounds way better than stock
