considering buying a clarion head unit...but dont have much experience with clarion...

anybody know if this deck is worth buying???

how does it compare to alpine or pioneer??

I just had a CLARION VRX935VD installed on Monday. Its a sweet head unit. Definitely worth it. Of course, if i had extra dough, i would've gone for Alpine d900. I was always a alpine fan when it comes down to HU. The clarion is actually better then i expected, plus very good price.

 

I have clarion and I've had no problems with mine.

 

Clarion HU's tend to be of decent quality. I haven't dealt with one of their HU's for a while (around '98) but I've heard no serious complaints. Try to dodge their entry level stuff and head straight for mid/top of the line. You'll have little to no problems.

i just got this puppy in the mail a couple days ago:



should match the dash colors well, and i've always known clarion as being "pro-class" quality.. but we'll see once i get it in next week..

I have the 735 too... Awesome deck. Clarion makes great stuff!

 

I had the Auto pc from them in my old car and LOVEDDD it then the damn car got stolen, that was the best thing i have ever had.
