Looking around, but couldnt find one.. has anyone seen either a 1 DIn or @ din dash kit for the new 08 Lancers?

I called Metra a couple of days ago and its still in the R&D status. Stated that its possible that it will be released sometime mid-September.

At the same time the dash kit is released. I don't have clarification if they will release the harness that will maintain steering wheel controls. I know PAC is working on one that does. No clue when it will be released.

 

guys i have a gts with base audio. I did upgrade an amp for mids and highs. sounds awesome now. But then i have decided to get a dvd player with touch screen 7" and i am looking for a double din stereo mounting kit for 08 lancer. So far i have been unsuccessful everywhere else but mitsubishi. I have found one that they have for a lancer gts with navigation, but it costs 649.00. which in my opinion is stupid for a piece of plastic. Now if anyone knows where i can get one cheaper way cheaper, i will buy it...

btw here is the touchscreen i am getting.





i just need the double din mounting kit now. any one please help. or please check at ur local mitsu may be price is different.

Well man we just have to wait until someone makes it, but i do know that im not paying mitsubishi for a 2din dash kit...

 

Just got off the phone with Metra, still scheduled for a September release on the kit.

metra got back to me via email and they said that they will do a dash kit for it, but there is no ETA.

as for the jvc tochscreen i got in on sale at circuit city for 550.00
