I have a mitsu 2008 lancer gts. I didn't purchase a sun and sound package but did install a custom in-dash dvd/nav system. I am new to car audio so i was wondering if anyone has a setup that would give me enough bass but not too much where i was loosening the bolts off my car. I dont trust the audio stores that jack up their prices and "cut" down the price. I was thinking about buying my subs and amps from an online store so a model number would be helpful. thanks.

 

I've always found Crutchfield to be very helpfull. Even if you don't buy from them.

For my System I run an In-Dash Screen with factory Mids amplified and a Single 12W3 sub in a JL HO box with a JL250 on it. The system is perfect for me since I have the sub control on the deck and when I want to jam it is loud enough for me. But a single 12 is a good way to go about it, and the JL stuff in my eyes is worth the Cash.
