What's the best solution cuz I hate seeing my lights dim whenever my bass hits really hard.
Its gunna be hard to explain through text but i can try..what a cap can do is it will keep on drawing power from your battery continuously and will keep giving it to the amp. Your amp is gunna keep on sucking the power and when you have this going on the cap keeps going back to the battery and draining large amounts of power from your battery...your alternater will keep recharging the battery but theres times that the cap will drain faster than the alternater will charge..eventually everything will just be completley drained...it usually won't happen but if your bass hits hard enough long enough and instead of everything just overloading with power the cap will keep draining the battery and feeding the amp

^^ive gotten all this information from this company i go to for my audio needs..they are probably the only people ive ever talked to that know exactly what theyre talking about...the three people that install are the only 3 'master installers' in this area and ive had problems with my system that ive gone to probably 10 other stores (at least) most of them in the milwaukee area and none of them could figure out...these guys knew right away.. he gave me some analogy that i forgot but it made alot more sense when he told me then the way i made it sound

as for your problem..all i could recommend would be to double and triple check your wiring..make sure you have a good ground with any paint scraped off..ive also seen ppl run more grounds from their battery to 2 or 3 more places in the engine bay andrun a larger wire from the alternator to the battery and that seemed to work...you shouldn't need another battery..buy a better battery might help as well..

Step 1. Make sure it's not trunk monkey causing rattles.
Step 2. If rattling persists, dynamat everything that rattles.

Also I thought that there was some kind of roof insulation you could get from Home Depot that worked just as well.

^It's expanding foam that some use in those hard to get places, like the truck lid. In the places under the braces where the mat cannot fit. If you do get it to use, practice to see how much it does expand; no since in breaking or rippling metal cuz of it.
