I had 2 X 12" JL W0 400watts powered by A1400 JL amp. In the perfect box! 140db!! No lies! I beat out many systems running +1000 watts! If you want a powerful system make a good box! The power is in the box! You can have the biggest subs, most subs, most watts, but with out the box you got nothing. Its all about having the right box for the right subs. the perfect air space.

My friend had a civic with 3 12"s in a perfect box and beat a bronco with a wall of 9 12" subs. It was cool.

my current lancer has 4 speakers…lmao

but one of my previous cars (MINI) had six speakers, two tweeters, and two stealth 8” subs in the doors…all that sound in such a small space…simply amazing

Back in the day....

We used to compete in Db Drag with a '90 Civic HB, '90 Grand Am and a '96 Astro Van.

The Civic was running 2 US Amps 2000x's with 2 Image Dynamics SPL 18's = 151db
2 Batteries, Ohio Generators 200 amp alternator
2001 World Finals 8th place Street 1-2

The Grand Am was running 10 Memphis 1000d's with 2 Stroker 15s = 155db
4 12v Batteries, Ohio Generators 200 amp alternator
2001 World Finals 8th place SuperStreet 1-2

The Astro was running 8 Us Amps 4000x's with 4 Stroker 18's = 166db
16 8v Batteries, 2 Ohio Generators 200 amp alternators chain driven
2001,2002,2003 World Finals 5th, 4th, and 7th place SuperStreet 3-4

Currently my Lancer runs 2 Sony 10's with a Cerwin Vega 2000 watt amp = 133db
Not much but i dont need much.

Damn.

I'd imagine standing anywhere within 100 yards of that thing would vibrate the core of your bones...
