Which Pioneer headunit to buy?

DEH-P5500MP
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/Pi...,92440,00.html

or DEH-P7500MP
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/Pi...,93024,00.html

Main difference is that the 2nd one has an animated graphic display, but roughly costs $70 more with internet pricing.

what price are you looking at? i might be able to get you a better internet price. i have the 6500, which is much like the 7500 less mp3 playback and few other things.

Or buy the 4500 and save yourself a couple hundred dollars ;-) put that in to amps and speakers and you'll be better off anyway...

I'm going cheap and when my Pioneer DEHP52000 is officially dead in like 2 weeks... I'm just going to pick up the 4500... supposed to be driving not watching animations and browsing mp3s and crap ;-) LOL... oh wait.. that's what your copilot does... if you have a good one.

THe 7500 is what I'm looking getting, since my Alpine got stolen. Your looking at like $250 on ebay, or if your retarded $379 at Best Buy. If anyone else has seen a better price let's have it. For some reason Pioneer is really cheap on ebay.

Lets try to keep it on topic for the poor fella here...

But being a total hypocrit... I was looking at Kenwood units and heard 2 big things about them 1) The mp3s are very hard to navigate compared to other brands.. 2) they tend to not have very clean sounds and filter in a lot of noise to the signal. I've heard both things from a number of different sources... so yeah... but still cool decks ;-) But I'm noticing too many people on here buying decks for looks and oohs and aahs and not for what they actually do. Spend your money where it helps the system.. not on some pretty lights that only joe schmoe who knows jack about car audio will actually be impressed by.

Yea, that's what I was thinking too. Apparently a lot of people like the bling bling factor of the 7500. The 5500 is selling for $175 online vs $250 of the 7500, after shipping. That's a huge chunk of difference for just screensavers.

What do you guys think about this model:

heh....I wish!

Oops sorry guys, eheh I had to butt in after looking at the radio a few days back. That kenwood is sweeeet! The faceplate is so thin as well and when the unit is off, its all black and looks like nothing is there/no lcd just blackness. Great security if you ask me. Ok enough, sorry for jacking this thread again. =)
