Hey All,
The distributor for our the shop i work at was looking for a new car to feature the 2008 Exile Audio line in (not the futureshop line, but X series and the soon to be released Pro Series). The main audio guy asked if i would do it so i jumped on. Alot of fiberglass work is on the way, but I'll definately post pictures when i am done. We'll be running:
2 shallow 12's in the corners of the trunk, closest to the rear
2 DVC 12's reverse firing towards the cab, with the magnets pointing out the trunk lid
2 10's acting as mid bass fiberglassed into each rear door
2 sets of 6.5 inch components; with two 6.5 inch fiberglassed in each front door with a tweeter centered between them, then the other tweeters will be in the A pillars. Its a Competition car so we will be running 5 amps for optimal tuning and power. We need to figure out a way to get the amperage without changing the alternator because I called Mitsubishi Canada and it will completely void the 10 year/160K warranty. My 5 year interior will be void due to the fiberglass but im more concerned about having my drivetrain covered than a door panel or heated seat. A DEEP cycle battery will be put in and some CAPS to slightly loosen the load, but a 100AMP APS unit might need to be installed, and thats something that won't be included in the sponsor.
The car will be at a few car/audio shows in the area, and i get to keep all the product in the end! There should be some pictures real soon, the order is in and the work should begin next week.
