I have been searching

So I have been looking for this radio that my bro used to have in his avenger. It was really cool, in my eyes at least, because when the car was the on the radio was there like normal. However, when the car was off the face did a complete flip and it seemed like there was no radio there. If you looked at it, it seemed like there was a black plastic peice where there should have been a radio. I have been searching everywhere for a radio like this, if anyone knows where I can get one, please let me know. Also since this radio was out long ago, let me know if there have been any updates, and if any NEWER ones have come out. Blue tooth and HD radio are nice, but I can do without blue tooth. I have tried to search but I have no idea what to put in the search bar when I'm looking, lol. Thanks guys!

Umm, so you're basically saying you want an aftermarket head unit?

It's easier to find a better one than to find the exact same one

There were several Kenwood units that had that blank face a few years ago. I remember seeing them in stores.

It doesn't look like their current models do that anymore.

Probably not the exact one, but a nice HU with the "stealth face" feature.

Looks like a single DIN to me so it should be fine. Most Kenwoods are "normal" in size so I doubt you'd have any problems. Keep us posted when you get it installed.

Yep...what empire4vr said.

That deck + my component speakers that I have for sale...BLAM! That would be one nice setup.

Hmmm...sorry about the dead end on the Kenwoods.

Check out JVC's "El Kameleon" HUs. They are the only others that I could find and there are several models. From what I saw, they look nice!
