I seen setups with multiple speakers and they do sound good. So as long they bang with good sound, I guess there is nothing anyone can say wrong about it.

 

true! ive seen in person 16 8" subs in the extended cab of an F-250 and it hit very hard!

well yea i hadnt removed th spare yet sop the lighting wasnt finished but i put the caps in today and i think i might buy one more for the left side lol
but the mitsu logo will be on the trunk lid now
should be doing that this weekend











i also bought an equalizer which does wonders to my sound and just really sets it off
and it lights up to match the dash

cus i can ge them for 300 with a 500/1 amp
so ill hide the audiobahn and display the 500/1
which makes an entie JL audio trunk since i cas remove the brand on the caps and make it just chrome which i did to the top one

lookin good man..personally if it were me i would have taken a different approach but to each his own. dont take this the wrong way im not trying to bash anything just trying to give my opinion. JL makes a great product but is overpriced IMHO. i was gunna ask why you did w6's and not w7's but that question got answered.

the biggest thing i dont like about it is how the two 10w3's are mounted on the side..they just dont seem to run with the rest of the trunk. maybe if you were able to do some fiberglass on the sides there and make them less bulky and look better and maybe make them downward firing to take more of a stealth approach? idk just a thought.

all in all tho great work..looks like a lot of your hard earned money and time has gone into this and i give you props for doing it. can't wait to see the finished product. wish i coulda done something like this when i had my lancer..but i lacked the patience, time(full time college student, full time job and i need my social time), and money, and now i lack a lancer lol

keep us posted, and (even tho i think there overpriced) at least your doing it right with JL, its a great speaker and u cant go wrong with the quality

personally,and like someone said before my post ,too each there own,id dump the audiobahn crap...and if your hung up on jl then get a jl amp,and dont skip on the RMS,yes thats right RMS...you wont beleive the amount of people who do not know the true measurement of an amp,they brag how there ,sorry if this offends anyone not what im trying too do,2000 watt sony explode amp kicks the crap outta my rockford fosgate bd1000...i just shake my head and smile...
im a old school type of guy,love my kicker, fosgate and alpine.. ive had jl,mtx,pyle and a few others ,you cant beat the originals..my opinion.
just for the record heres the specs on my sysytem in my 02 lancer...
all around the stock locations are alpine type s's 6 3/4... alpine head unit , fosgate bd 1000 and a sad but true stock fosgate p2 ported box right from fosgate...and its a breath taker...lovein it..good luck on your system and keep up the good work on it.
