depends how you want to install them, you probably would have no room left for anything if you want to put them in individual boxes, but for lil'room, lotsa subs ideas look at car/audio show websites, some people could manage to cram like 20 subs into a CRX by putting them in at weird, but effective angles... not that i'm tellin ya to go aheaad and buy 20 subs...i'm just saying theres ALWAYS a way

If you ditch the back seats, and build a half-wall, have 2 facing into the car, and have 2 firing toward the trunk lid, you should be all set with a box that may be large enough to be ported. (depends on the subs)

Two downfiring mounted in the trunk's floor, two in a box facing foward assuming the box isn't too tall. Lemme know how badly your ears bleed and how much replacement windows all around cost.

You want SPL? Ditch the 4-18"s and go with 6 10"s or 12"s.

18's go lower, but its not really worth the time and space. Unless you go top of the line, your talking like 3-4 ft3 per woofer.

I had 2 18's and 2 15's in a van once.

note: van

hmmm All I can think of is wave cancellation(sp?) with all those subs firing at different angles. my guess is that your doing this for show and not for spl. You need to take measurements of the trunk and know how big the box/boxes that you are going to make. My input for this idea is that you build a wall and have all 4 18's firing forward. Since your asking if this can be done then Im assuming that you dont have enough knowledge to build intricate boxes with limited space. just build a wall.

3 cubes is nothing for spl systems. expecially not for 15inch or 18inch sub.
