i have an earlier hacked version of centrafuse and the maps are kinda outdated and you have to load a new map for each region of the USA so it kinda sucks, my laptop has bluetooth and everything so i could probably setup my phone,
centrafuse is currently having a sale on the 2.0 package 50% off but i think its because centrafuse 3 is coming out.
whats cool about 2 vs 1.47 that i like is the IPOD feature, thats the main complaint from friends ,"ahh i used to be able to hook up my ipod or i cant control my ipod through this ?? it does everythign else !"
we shall see what the future holds.
Either way I will take out the circuit boards from the stock headunit and have them mounted down behind the AC controls along with the headunit (as another member has already proven works) and hardwire 2 push buttons, one to Power and the other to the CD button to turn on auxiliary.

the picture that has the wires coming out is the button for the "CD /AUX" button on the stock face plate, so when you solder a push button to it and hold down the push button just as u did the "CD" button on the stock radio it will go into AUX mode.
and yes CENTRAFUSE is >>>> than roadrunner. Road runner i had fully customized and i loved it over centrafuse but it was freezing too much and so i just stuck with centrafuse.

its no dangling it has no room to move down there. it sits level and cant move much because of the tight space, you initially have to angle it to get it down there.
Does anyone know if it is possible to run centrafuse on the stock lancer navigation system (2009)? I don't know why it got such good reviews... I'm always driving around in a field and going to gas stations that don't exist. The centrafuse system looks very promising as it has an SDK that I can hack around with. Let me know.
