Omg, I have to give you mad props for this man. I can't believe you got everything from the navigation to the phone to work, how did you do it? Man I bet it took a lot of programming.

the phone is the stock bluetooth that came with my car , thanks for the props its mostly centrafuse, the work i did was the modding of the stock face plate to allow access to the aux port.

its pretty nice , my boss rode in my car to lunch and he was like , is this the stock system this is cool! and i was like thanks but its not :\ the stock system has gotten pretty good reviews (navigation) but honestly i dont want to fork up 1400 for everything.

Lancer0220, setups looking good.
Are you ever planning to shift over to the PC running everything?

if i ever get a better computer, this computer is leftover stock from my work so it was free, i would like to get a mini motherboard an ssd hdd etc etc and build a tiny pc in dash so that nothing is in my glove box. then i could run XP instead of this crap vista (sorry im a mac / xp guy i dont hate windows just vista, heh i have wm 6.1 on my phone).

i have an earlier hacked version of centrafuse and the maps are kinda outdated and you have to load a new map for each region of the USA so it kinda sucks, my laptop has bluetooth and everything so i could probably setup my phone,

centrafuse is currently having a sale on the 2.0 package 50% off but i think its because centrafuse 3 is coming out.

whats cool about 2 vs 1.47 that i like is the IPOD feature, thats the main complaint from friends ,"ahh i used to be able to hook up my ipod or i cant control my ipod through this ?? it does everythign else !"

we shall see what the future holds.

Do you have a picture of this? I like your set up and would like to do the same. Have you tried Road Runner (Ride Runner)? Just wondering how much better Centrafuse is over Road Runner.

the picture that has the wires coming out is the button for the "CD /AUX" button on the stock face plate, so when you solder a push button to it and hold down the push button just as u did the "CD" button on the stock radio it will go into AUX mode.

and yes CENTRAFUSE is >>>> than roadrunner. Road runner i had fully customized and i loved it over centrafuse but it was freezing too much and so i just stuck with centrafuse.

Sorry to bring this back to life again. How did you mount the headunit behind the AC controls? I tried searching the forums but couldn't find it.

you just put it down there it fits well down there. you might have to angle it around to get it down there but its pretty easy.

its no dangling it has no room to move down there. it sits level and cant move much because of the tight space, you initially have to angle it to get it down there.

Does anyone know if it is possible to run centrafuse on the stock lancer navigation system (2009)? I don't know why it got such good reviews... I'm always driving around in a field and going to gas stations that don't exist. The centrafuse system looks very promising as it has an SDK that I can hack around with. Let me know.
