HELP---does anybody konw about the wireing of the rockford amp??

I am wanting to keep the stock system.. but add another amp and use the cables from the stock system.. I want to keep the stock 10 for mids and highs, and add two 15's for the lows.. all I need to know is which wires go to the stock sub from the head unit so i can tap into them and run my new wires.. also is the remote wire still a light blue one?

3 subs is gonna sound like bleh.... If you want clean sounding bass I would go with either one or two at the most. they have to be tuned accordingly or else they will cancel each other out. And i doubt the stock power wires are gonna be enough to run another amp off of. If you are absolutely set on running to 15's then I am assuming your gonna be using an amp with about 1000rms right? So for an amp that size 4 gauge is the smallest you wanna go. Your going to have to run another power wire to the back of the car. If you do it right it can sound good. Maybe you could do something like 60hz and lower for the 15s and 70hz up for the 10 maybe?

there is no sub output on the stock radio.....the stock RF amp does everything. honestly, you are better off getting rid of the RF amp and buying a 5-channel amp or a mono and 4-channel. you will run into less trouble this way.

You could tap into the existing sub outputs at the rockford amp itself im assuming.... If your looking for more base i would recommend getting a single 10 or 12 inch sub with a nice 500 rms amp. I wont get into brands or anything as im sure youve searched all that. easiest way is to run new wires for the sub tapping into the rear speaker wires at the trunk. Use a rca convertor to hook the feeds to your amp.
