Unhappy Help!

I'm not getting any sound out of my new rear speakers when I hook them to the factory head unit. I don't have my front speakers hooked up any more, just using rears for now, could that be why?

what did you do, take out all 4 and put new ones in the back using the same wiring? make sure the fade is in the back.

check the fade on the radio. check the wiring from the headunit to the speakers. make sure you connected them right and that they weren't crushed in the installation process.

i highly doubt that by disconnecting front speakers will affect rear ones, but just to check, reconnect the factory front ones to test it. then if all else fails, test the new speakers you bought, maybe the speakers themselves don't work at all.

ya, put the stock ones back on the rear, if those work and the new ones don't, its the speakers, if nothing works, make sure you wired everything right. if it still doesnt work, turn the radio on.

HA! I fixed it. Turns out I accidently grounded the pos. (+) speaker wire on the passenger side door speaker. What a dumb-***! Someone me in the head!
