Which H/U. Panasonic or Alpine

ok so heres the deal. I am lookin into getting a new H/U sometime in the near future. The two i am deciding between are the

Panasonic CQ-DF903U ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4cW87Vs...asp?i=133DF903 )

or

Alpine CDA-7893 ( http://www.carhookups.com/alpine%20cda-7893.asp )

id like to keep it in this price range s any others remember that

I've got the Panasonic in my lancer and can post a pic if you would like. It is a very nice looking head unit and gives the inside of my car a nice blue glow at night. The downside is that it does not give you as many features as the Alpine does.

Id say Alpine on reputation alone.......
Alpine doesnt give you all the graphics and bells and whistles of other decks, such as Kenwood or Sony, but it packs a punch...

Thats a hard one, I love the graphics of the Panasonic but, I have the Alpine in my other car and love it. If it were me I would find the alpine somewhere on ebay and rock that.
Either that or the Kenwood 922, also of pimp quality.

Both have pros and cons, but if it were me I would go with alpine or if your stuck on the Panasonic, I would go with a higher level such as the

I personally have alpine 9813 in my car and it is the pimp stuff. its all about a deck that can play mp3/wma encoded cds. why have just one cd on a burned when you can have 15+. so i put my vote to alpine with their 3 rca outputs when i get the subs in soon it will be da pimp stuff! i can maybe post pics when i get a friends digital camera after i put my rims on tommorow. YEAH!

I would suggest Alpine for Sound Quality and the options that it has for setting everything up. The Panasonic is more for looks I would say. If I was to buy a deck it would either be Alpine or Pioneer.

ok so i went to panasonic.com and found that theCQ-DFX983U and CQ-DFX883U are actually better but the 883u doesnt have a 'pretty' background but is cheaper... so instead of the 903u im thinkin of these two.. a really want the alpine but i kinda do want a nice lookin H/U and im goin to attach amps to all speakers so i dont really need the 60x4....and the panasomin has better outputs.....hmm eventhough the majority says alpine i might have to go panasonic based on price and better outputs and better looks.

Just to add fuel to the fire, I wont debate if Alpine is quality or not, since Im biased. You worried at all about theft? Dont care about looks and gimmicks? Go Eclipse, probably just a bit better in sound quality than Alpine, which is light years ahead of Panasonic. Plus, Eclipses dont get stolen, because people who know car stereos know stealing them is useless. Pus if it does get stolen Eclipse has your back.

By the way, since when is Pioneer and quality associated with each other????LOL
