a h/u that can handle aux input
a power inverter for the xbox/dvd player
a power source for the screen (direct line from battery is what I used)

nah i ment that ur HU needs an AUX input (the red and white cables from the xbox or ps2) the AUX is used if u have a CD changer and the yellow goes to the video in(usually supplied by the monitor). the stock head unit doesnt have an AUX input, i think

you can get screens that have speakers in them, but the sound is ****!

I have a pioneer deh-p3000 ( I think )
I had to buy an aux input BUS for the back, cost me an extra $50.

another option is to buy an FM mod
but I'd only use that as an absolute last option. the sound wont be nearly as good.

yeh its better to do it all in one shot. i have my headunit, my monitor and my ps2 running if i wanna play a dvd. but with the alpine its just the HU on. it would save a lot of time and wiring also

it's awesome.

dont' think I will add xbox or anything like that.
just can't think of a good place to put it.

do it just the way i did. look at my registry. the wires werent long enough so i had to buy another cable, cut them and then connceted them to the old cable so that it would be long enough

actually we just installed a screen in my buddy's 03 honda accord. he has navigation, so he didnt want to mess with the radio system. we used a BOSS fm modulator to play the sound off of the screen. everything turned out perfect. regular plugs into your antenna, and wireless just needs a power source, your choice. if you do decide to go with a fm modulator, be careful which one you choose because there are a lot of people who have picked up crappy ones

ya, i just bought that BOSS fm modulator that .L. is talking about. it should be here in about 2 days. i'll let you know how it is. that way you can just plug it in to any head unit, whether it has aux input or not.
