started new trunk/subs setup.

I haven't really done anything with the car for a while so decided to finally address the situation in my trunk. I am installing two 10" subs in the trunk. I had relocated the battery to the trunk when i did the turbo. Now i don't like it in that big black box so going with optima red top. here is a pic of whats going on.

Each sub enclosure is removable so that i can get to the shock mounts without taking the whole thing out. got to finish framing them and then glass them up to make them flush with the sides of the trunk.

Well, thanks for asking. Let me tell you about it. I wanted to show the car at a local car show to try and stir up some potential clients for and audio installation business/hobby. anyways, i had a more elaborate plan for the install but the show is in june so had to simplify. The box is a safe. Digital locking safe. its not carpeted yet but here is a pic.

I just finished the sides of the boxes. (used a snugy for fleece) got to wait for the fiberglass to set then im going to set the sub rings up and flees it up and get ready for next glassing. The subs will most likely face back on an upward angle. the trunk lid arms are in the way but going to try and make the boxes flow with that. working on them now.
