Hey anyone know how to set up a sub and amp in an 04 lancer?


any help would be appreciated especially in terms of the power cable from battery to amp and opening some panels and rear seats... wiring should be sweet

Well I have an 03 which is pretty much the same, I ran along the driver side fender went into the fire wall. And you kno the door sills those pop off and a cable can be run perfectly inside them all the way back into the trunk

 

i went through the firewall on the passenger side through a rubber funnel looking thing. it popped out right behind the glove box and ran the wires through the plastic pieces along the passenger side of the car to the trunk.

 

you typically shouldnt run your power wires and signal wires on the same side of the car. On a lancer its easier to run your power down the drivers side and the signal down the passengers. This will avoid interference down the road between the power and rca's
