Adding New Amplifiers to Stock Navi

Ok. Here we go. My new project is to add amplifiers to the stock navi in my 09' Lancer GTS. I have the RF hi-lo converters, amplifiers, capacitor, speakers, sub, et cetera. I tested the output lines from the stock navi to the amp (located under the driver side seat), but I can NOT find the remote wire. Help!!!

there is no remote wire. it is turned on by data, which is CANBUS i believe. you will need some special interface to use a CANBUS system on regular amps.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into CANBUS.

or just run a remote turn on from your ignition harness or fuse box area. you'll be able to find a ACC or Ign wire there. You won't be able to use the CANBUS wire.

Or get an amplifier with smart engage. (MTX Audio) Doesn't require a remote wire.
