Which amp to run a kicker compVr?

Hi,
I recently purchased a kicker compVr 12inch 2ohm sub. I'm new to this stuff so this may be a silly question, but as the sub is a 2ohm sub does that mean the amp I use to run it should be stable at 2 ohm?

So the amp should supply power to the sub at 2ohm? What would be a good amp run this sub (400W RMS) in a sealed box?- bear in mind I've already blown my budget (gotta love the JVC SH909?). How much power do I need the amp to put out? Is about the same RMS as the sub about right? As the sub is 2ohm this RMS power should also be at 2ohm?

Thanks
Scott

although i'm also new to this, let me explain to my best ability.
yes, you're gonna want a 2 ohm amp. RMS is basically what your sub can continually put out safely. it can go up to it's peak, but keeping it running at it's peak is dangerous, and exceding it's peak means sub go boom. most of the amps you'd look at will say "150watt x 2 at 4 ohm. 200 x 1 @ 2 ohm, 400 x 1 @ 4 ohm" or something. just look at that. if you've got 1 sub runnin 2 ohms, then that particular amp will give you 200watt rms.
rms for the amp means the same as the sub. it will run safely at it's rms. tho you can't "blow" and amp, they get /really/ hot. you don't wanna chance runnin your amp at it's peak for a real long time unless it's in a freezer with fans on it.
now, another wierd thing someone told me once is run a 1 channel amp to multiple subs, and 2 channel amp to a single sub. i can sorta see the logic, but not much. so if someone wants to explain this better, that'd be cool.

like i said, i'm somewhat new to this as well, so don't take my word as the bible or something.

Kicker vr comps rock!!!! :P

I'm running 2 12inch kicker vr comps with a 1000watt amp,
and it ****ing pounds. The kicker solo barics are better but the comps deserve a good amp running them.
