Need sub help
Need sub help
I have a 4 channel Audiobahn: 75rms x 4 (4 ohm) or 150rms x 4 (2 ohm) or 300rms (4 ohm bridged mono). I have Infinity Kappas taking up the two front channels and need a light subwoofer setup. I was thinking of either running a single 8" or 10" from a bridged load or getting two 6.5 and running them individually on the last two channels.
What does anyone recommend? I am leaning toward a plexiglass
box to save weight either way. Doing a free air setup would be the easiest but I don't know how the dynamics are with our cars.
SQ is what is most important to me.

If you are gonna put a sub in the trunk of your car you MUST "port it" into the car someway.
1) Remove the rear deck POS Mitsu speakers and leave the speaker covers on (this way the bass in your trunk will be able to port into your car cabin instead of vibrating aimlessly off of your back seat and trunk).
I'd look at a powered Bazooka Tube. It will do the trick for low cost and can be easliy removed when autoX or racing. Weight is evil...
