Anybody familiar with this cd deck?

I really want an indash car tv/dvd system, but i can bring myself to pay that much. My headunit is getting old and skips too much and need to get a new one soon and was wondering if anybody is familiar with this one? It looks sweet and has a large 32,000-color TFT display that can display digital images, animations and full-motion clips. I wanted to know if people knew what kind of files they play and how easy it is to use? Here is a link:

not sure about how easy it is to use or files, but it looks like a great unit. if you got that kind of money, that would probably be a great investment.

Yeah, it's cool in person too. A co-worker has one, he loves it. He puts different pictures up depending on what he's listening to. I'd like to get one, but it's so new I can't get a good price yet... Oh well, I'll live.

Hey I had that unit! It's a great unit..... But Sony decks do skip and aren't as great as other decks. After I sold that unit I installed my previous head unit again, the black face sony, I love it, but I would much rather have something else. I am in the market for a Clarion T.V., but I have some engine mods to take care of first. Good Luck, but honestly for $375, I'd definately get it!

would it skip bc of the cd, randomly, or when going over sleeping policemen?

so new you can't get a price? i work at circuit city and it's not a new unit. it's either a 2003 or 2002 model. it's pretty nice. but, i don't think it's worth it for the money. i'd say just get an alpine screen or even go with the sony screen... 7 inches and you can play DVDs if you hook up a DVD player to it.

man that is not worth it. the alpine system will run me 2k+ and this will cost 375. that is a 2k difference thus making the sony cd deck worth it.

TG Lancer: i have a Clarion screen like new for sale if you want it. its the 7" widescreen LCD. Hit me up if your interested.

Oh and btw, Sony decks are pos. They tend to break down fast for some reason and the Signal to noise ratio is way below average. i would never invest 375-630 on a sony deck.

I agree if u want quality sound stick w/ the big boys alpine, clarion, nakamichi, and eclipse, if u want to display fancy pictures get an indash dvd and and burn your own dvd with pictures on it ...BUT for 300 it's hella better than dropping 650 on it ...if thats what u want to hell w/ what anybody else says and roll wit it it'll get you some looks

The best thing about best buy.. if u buy their life time warranty (which kicks ***!) when it breaks u take it there and get a brand new one the same day... my brother blew so many subwoofers that he bought from there. no prob with their customer service!!
