So I was looking for a new radio and finally settled on a Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS. Problem was everywhere I found wanted like $430. Some more research found out that Bestbuy had it but it was thru a 3rd party called 3kings audio. ( http://www.3kings.com/ ) I was very nervous at first because there was no picture of the radio, complete internet business and that they had the advertised priced considerably lower. Well I thought about it and saw that you could pay with paypal...

So I began to think harder about it and considered using my Bestbuy card. Well I ended up finding reviews and they all were stating how great it was and the fast shipping. Even on the site it states before a certain time it ships same day. Well I end up finding a 5% off coupon code to drop the price even further. I figured why not give it a shot because I couldn't beat the price. Ordered it on a Monday before the deadline and that night I see its shipping from a warehouse roughly 3 hrs from me. I received my radio the next day. Btw this is FREE SHIPPING and I got it the NEXT DAY!!! lol

Inspected the package for any thing that I could think of. Refurbs, opened items and nothing. Open it and its brand spanking new. Looks amazing, sounds even better and I'm considering buying another for my other vehicle thru them. Customer service is all thru email which is ok because its about a 24hr turn a round which is fine for me. All in all it was a great purchase and I'm so glad I took a chance. Figured id let everyone know about the savings and if you want the coupon code just ask me.

very nice car bro. i like the TV set-up. that is what am planning to do to my evo once i get the money saved for it. how much did the unit, part and install cost you?

 

The unit was 340 I believe with free shipping and after the discount. Normally was like 360. I also had to buy from ABT.com the install kit which was 29.99 free shipping but it sucks cause you only need the trim piece. The trim piece you actually have to cut and just use the top part. Plus I bought a video in motion bypass switch which works amazing and is very easy to install which was 20 bucks. So roughly 390 for the radio, the install kit, and the bypass switch. Im also talking with a company right now to get a screen protector for it as well. If you get this radio and have any questions just hit me up and I can walk you thru it or if you live in Ohio Ill come out and help you.

Install time took a while cause it was my first time and if I would of realized I could take the entire cage out it would of been easier.. lol. Let me know though.

I really wish you was closer to chicago so we can instill this unit together because your instill is very clean, that i like. how hard is it to relocate the H/Vac or A/C unit noobs to the bottom? i will need all the switch also so i can cruise and TV on. i will keep you updated if i go with this set up. i like the price very much.

 

To relocate them is easy. Just got to get the hvac relocation piece. If you go with the same exact setup ill give u my personal number and I can walk you thru it or if you buy me a motel 6 room heck ill go to Chicago for a vacation and help ya. haha If you need any prices or places I bought stuff let me know
