Rattling

Rattling

i'm about to invest in my car sound system, but i despise with a passion rattling. i basically want to get a good amount of bass without and rattling. do you guys with systems have any suggestions on where to dyno-mat or any tips so i can prevent my car from sounding like a vibrator?? thanks

since you dont have your car listed i'm guessing you have a lancer... depending on how much bass your pushing the problem areas are:

the liscence plate
the spoiler connections (if you have a spoiler)
the rear deck (especially the seat belt mounts in it)
the trunk lid itself

these are what i've noticed rattling but i'm sure theres more...

Buy about 1000sq yards of polyfill and I will tell you how to keep this car from rattling.

yes rateling is a big prob so far i ahve had to dynomat the entire trunk foam fill the spolier ad 2 more self tapping screws in the license plate remove the seatbelts in the back seat and add silicone underneath the spolier( were it conectects to the trunk) this provides a "flex" area. I have 3 JL W3 subs and most of my ratlle is gone
