Lightbulb custom enclosure

I am interested in custom mounting my 2 10'' subs and amp in the trunk of the lancer. I would like to see if anybody has done one or has an idea. My idea was to have the subs on the side and the amp recessed with a custom tool box recessed also. I would like to keep my spare though....

You can build a wall that will go from the backseat to the edge of the strut towers that will hold your 2 subs and mount your amps on the trunk lid.

For easy access to you spare, but the sparewell board where your wall ends and put some small door hinges. That way you'll just have to lift the board and get you spare. That's the way I'm setup, except I have only 1 subs 2 amps. My wall ends at the edges of my strut tower. The sub is in the center of the wall, and the amps are mounted on each side.

Just like this

That enclosure is awesome!!!

but it is a little expensive $369

I bet that I could make one for under $150.

150$ will get you the material, but won't give you the craftmanship*spl*. That kind of setup probably involves a few hours of design to make it look right, plus a few hours to make it.

EVOMIZ - I haven't had a chance to drive over and check it out. josh said that it sounds pretty darn good. with the lancer + evo having pretty much the same trunk, i don't see why it wouldn't fit. I'd email him and aska few questions if I were you guys .. he's very good at responding

Yeah it takes craftsmanship and time but I could do it. I just have to put my mind to it. And anyways I have all weekend to do it. It is still not worth $369....
