Selling High End Stereo

I removed a custom installed high end system from my '03 Evo before I sold it consisting of the following:

Eclipse CD8443 Head unit - $400
Eclipse CH3083 Eight CD changer - $300
JL Audio 450/4 Amp - $700
JL Audio 500/1 Amp - $500
JL Audio W6V2 enclosed Sub(CVS110RG-W6V2) - $400
ADS Speakers with external crossover and separate tweeter (346is) - $600
ADS Speakers (rear)with external crossover and directional tweeter (346im) - $300
Alumapro 5 Farad Capacitor - $250
Cusco Rear Carbon Strut Brace with Billet Clamps to hold Subwoofer - $300
Custom 1" upholstered MDF panels to mount amps in trunk against rear seat back - $300
Notched trunk side panels to fit strut bar and amp panel - $150

Total new "street" (avg. internet) price $4000

The system was installed by a high end "boutique" custom car audio shop. It is about six months old.

I assume this system will fit in a standard Lancer. Does anyone have a recommendation on any car audio websites that might be useful to list this equipment for sale? Also, what is a reasonable price to ask for it?

Thanks

Why not try to sell it on here? Piecing out the system might work better.

As for the price, ask for whatever you feel you should get. Check ebay for the same thing and see what they're going for on there brand new, and you should know about what to ask (a little less than the new price hopefully). Hope that helps.

http://forum.sounddomain.com/ ... I'm sure you will get plenty of good offers if you post the stuff there.

are those the prices you paid for the stuff new? or is that what your trying to get used?
Nice system by the way elipse decks and JL subs/amps are my favorite way to set stuff up. I might be interested in one or both of the amps but not at full retail prices. I have the 500x1 right now considering bridging it with a 2nd 500x1 for my 3 subs and I have the 300x4 which I could just put the the rear and run the 450x4 to the components in front. Like I said great parts but since they are used I would expect to see used prices before I buy.

I posted the system on the private for sale/classified forum. I want $2000 for everything (about half of the new "street price"). I think this is fair for 6 month old equipment that has no marks or blemishes and looks like new. At this point I would prefer to sell it as a system and not piece it out.
