Yeah, the rough idle doesn't really go away, I never really noticed it get any better from the moment I installed it to after I had put over 150 miles on it. The car even died on me a couple of times when I had the rough idle map which was pretty bad. Best way to make the ride better on the 02-03s is to get the smoother idle map from rrm or another member. The idle will be less rough but you will feel a significant power loss (atleast I did), but the ride won't be as rough and your car won't constantly be jerking.

btw: Where in scottsdale are you?, Im in the phx/scottsdale area but I don't think that I have seen your car. Looks nice though.

Well what I would reccomend is calling rrm and telling them you want the smoother idle map and they should be able to email it to you. You need a laptop and the software and hook the piggyback up to the laptop using a serial port. I am not exactly sure on how to upload it but again rrm should be able to help you out with that. They are really helpful and can give you more information than I could provide.

yeah, the roughness is basically for the most power gain possible out of it, by tuning it your going to loose power, ive learned to just live with it, plus when someone asks if something is wrong with your car you can be like, "no its just race tuned" haha

rob from rrm said that you could raise the idle on the throttle body and that should help. but when i drove it today it was much better. it doesn't idle rough every time and when it does its not that bad.
