ROAD/RACE Piggy Poll- $399?

Just wanna know how many guys would rather buy piggy and software separate? IF we sold without software perhaps we can lower the price. A lot of guys are assuming that if we give the software then t hey must tune it. Maybe better if we sell some without it. Any ideas? Not saying we will do it yet but I would like to hear opinions.

What about if you sold the piggyback + software with no preloaded tune? Save your shop money on R&D and pass that on to customers.

Selling it without the software is a great idea. The noobs can get a "works out of the box" kit and buy the software later if they go more hardcore.

otters idea of a blank piggy "tune it yourself" kit is kinda intriguing as well.

Based on the emails etc it seems like the right way to offer an option. For guys who want software, they can pay the little extra and custom tune, datalog etc... Most guys want nothing to do with that.

Understandable. One of the major advantages of the RRM piggy is the "install it and you're done" nature. When I had an SAFC, I never got around to dyno-tuning it...

Bad idea, noobs won't be eager to play with the settings = less blown motors = less parts I could use

Yes, sell it without the software. Hook it up and go for cheaper is a good thing. A Similar suggestion if I may, sell the autocross perches with the sway bar, it's no good without them and save the customer (like me) some headaches. Not being a smart a$$, just a suggestion.

Regarding the perches, since I was just thinking about it this week - maybe sell a kit for ESs? From the picture, it looks like you get the perches and the four bolts. For folks that have an ES and aren't upgrading, why not grab the bolts that hold the perches to the car, the pieces that hold the sway bar to the perches and some endlinks? You could sell a "everything needed to put an RSB on your ES" kit.

Just a thought since we're mentioning stuff.

We have a combo kit for ESs. Include perches, swaybar and if you indicate that you have an ES we supplies genuine MITSU bolts so you can bolt perches to the frame!

Is that good?

Yup. That works.

Sorry I didn't know that! I had an OZ, so I just ordered the Progress bar from you guys.
