just got a used piggy from a member here .. and its a manual. and my car is auto ive search around thereds and alot of pple said it will work for both just wired diffrently.. but ive seen threds saying u need to get it reflashed.. whats the right answer.. yes or no?

 

its just wired differently, call RRM and they can most likely send you the right directions.

 

No. He needs an entirely different wiring harness. The auto will not work on the manual.

 

i've seen them both and unless RRM has changed something recently they are identical, the wiriring harness for the ECU is different and thus requires different install instructions.

 

heres a pic, sorry for the bad quality. what you see there is ECUflash on a mac, but I've also ran it in windows and I get the same issue. notice the units in the margins are all messed up. I just noticed they are all factors of 8, so possibly just a conversion error or something 2560.... 5120 .... 7680... 10240
